For example, they do not allow video or pictures inside the court room.

All about the money not you they dont care

About 90% of his place needs to be condemned since most of the real crimes committed here are by those who profit within the confines of these walls.

My generous rating of one star actually applies to the entire Suffolk County court system. My husband got a ticket for being parked in a local park 15 minutes before broad daylight because he was trying to get his jogging in before he had to go to work - and take note that this park is also a campground, where people come and go 24/7. The writing on the ticket was barely legible, but a poor quality photocopy of the procedure for dealing with it was attached. Because it was nearly impossible for him to take off from work to try to plead not guilty over the semantics of what precise time daylight occurs, he opted to plead guilty and just pay it as per the instructions on the attached paper. Three weeks later, he gets a notice that the court time of appearance has changed. Meanwhile, he had no clue what the date of appearance was, that information never appeared anywhere. Apparently, that payment was lost. After calls to the county legislator, the county executive, the park rangers, numerous courts, the SCTPVA (which was the asinine organization printed at the top of the instruction sheet and which absolutely will not offer you the opportunity to speak with anyone on the telephone, the entire menu is automated, telling callers how to get to the court and providing no option to speak to a representative), nobody could tell us what happened to the payment that was sent, nobody could even find a record of the ticket except for the park ranger. We did manage to get the court date from him as well. My husband managed to miraculously get the day off and showed up at the SCTPVA, where I had been told he had to go by someone on their payment telephone line, and there was no record of the ticket. Then they inform him that he should check with the First District court because it "may" be there. Husband comes home, gets through to First District court, lo and behold, there is the ticket. He is told he can "try" to come in and pay it, but the door may be locked and to just pound on the door if he sees a court official. What?! What kind of slipshod operation is this? Hours upon hours on the telephone in an attempt to get information on paying this ticket and given wrong information, a wasted trip to the wrong court as a result of wrong information and then a second trip in the hopes of being able to pay and resolve this. This was truly the most idiotic and inefficient experience. Why does it have to be so damn impossible to A) get information to deal with the ticket B) plead guilty and pay it without having to waste time going to court and C) be properly notified in a timely manner WHERE, WHEN AND what time one is supposed to appear? We have already sent letters to all pertinent county government offices informing them all of the unprofessional manner in which the court system has handled this.

Horrible place the whole Suffolk county is horrible these people literally try to ruin your life your driving privileges, they will pull you over for anything, I got a ticket for having a car air freahiner hanging from my rear view mirror and the cop told me it was obstruction of view , like seriously they don't have anything else better to do but try and ruin people's lives, I get you have to obey the law and by no means am I saying you can because obeying the law is very important but its ridiculous how petty these Suffolk cops are and on top of all that he was very very rude to me over a car air freshener, I was late to work because he pulled me over then I waited literally 57 mins for him to come back with the ticket I moved out of New York and am now a resident of Florida the police here are friendly and their not pulling people over for a car air freshener

They force fed me hotdog at my workplace .... Don’t lose your tamper
